Debby Boone, Debby Boone, Debby Boone Bio: Debby Boone was born Deborah Anne Boone September 22, 1956. Debby Boone is an American singer and actress of theater. Debby Boone is best known for his hit 1977, "You Light Up My Life," which spent ten weeks at the time record at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned him a Grammy the following year for Best New Artist.

In the 1980s, his musical career initially concentrated on country music is produced in the No. 1 country hit, "You're on the road to Lovin 'Me Again". Later, she recorded Christian music, which earned four top 10 contemporary Christian albums, and two more Grammys. Throughout his career, Boone has appeared in several musical theater productions and co-author of numerous children's books with her husband, Gabriel Ferrer.
